Fifty years ago, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed a bill creating the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. In this video, WVU asks you to consider the value of the arts and to imagine a world without them.

THE QUESTION invites all WVU students to submit a short essay (300 word maximum) or short video (2 minute maximum) in response to our question.  The top student contribution for each question will be published on our website.

Students from the School of Music won solo spots in the upcoming Young Artists Concert with the WVU Symphony Orchestra. These outstanding student musicians will be featured in the concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.
